The University of South Florida Collin’s Park is located near the main entrance to the campus in front of the Library Building and is one of the first venues visitors view when entering the university. L.A. Design provided design recommendations for the park with emphasis on creating areas where students can relax and have access to wireless internet service. Shade trees and sunny areas were positioned around the park to provide a different environment for the students. The park consist of bright lime green “chill chairs” and planters, steel color umbrellas and benches, swings, a fountain and an outdoor sculpture that mirrors the landscape plants.
